Welcome to Harriet & Hound Dog Grooming, a calm and caring one-to-one grooming salon based in Wimborne Dorset.As a City & Guilds Level 2 qualified groomer with advanced styling training and my Level 3 diploma training nearing completion, I am dedicated to providing high-quality grooming tailored to each dog’s individual needs.Operating from a quiet studio, every dog receives my full attention in a relaxed environment without the stress of busy salon settings or multiple dogs being groomed at once. My priority is ensuring your dog feels comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout their grooming experience.

Who are we

Harriet & Hound began its journey as 'Fetch & Stretch' in 2023, offering dog walking, pet sitting, and training services to dogs and their owners across the local area. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and caring for many wonderful dogs, gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing a strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language, and communication.In early 2025, I began my City & Guilds dog grooming training, inspired by my passion for working closely with dogs and helping them feel their best. Grooming felt like a natural next step, allowing me to combine my knowledge of dog care and behaviour with practical grooming skills.

Our Studio dog

We have a 1 year old chihuahua who may be at the studio during your appointment. He will never have direct access to your dog (although he is a friendly chap) Please let us know if your dog would dislike Harrys presence so we can leave him at home for your appointment.
